my dear Sally

This will be delivered to you by the Chevr. Frieré,1 who with his Lady, expects to sail next Sunday for new York, from whence they will pass on to Phila. where he is to reside in Quality of minister from Portugal to the U.S.— Mrs. Church speakes handsomely of the Lady with whom I have not the pleasure of being acquainted— I have seen the Chevr. and am pleased with him— he speakes English and seems an agreable man— I expect to write you another Letter2 by this Vessel vizt. the Frances & Mary Capt. Reed—3 Adieu— Yours most affectionately
